Promotion of awareness on Gender mainstreaming and Gender responsive programming and mitigation of dangers of Gender Based Violence (GBV)
We offer Consultancy Services as well as Community-based campaigns about Gender mainstreaming, and Gender responsive programming, Child Protection and Gender Based Violence. This covers the neighboring communities on the various road projects, as well as the Project Workforce.
On this front, gender analysis tools were used to sensitise the project managers and all staff of UNRA, CCCC and CR 3 about the dangers of gender blurred project. Programmes/ activities have been undertaken to ensure that issues of gender equality and management are given priority right from the planning process and are implemented.
To handle gender based violence cases were put in place and have been helpful in addressing domestic violence both in the families of project workers and neighbouring/project affected communities.
